In the current scenario, teachers find it difficult to remain positive when they are confronted with new problems & unfamiliar situation. Also there are many challenges that teachers face to facilitate the academic success of all children online. To help teachers to cope with the current situation where they are in a completely unfamiliar zone with learners as remote spectator our college organized an 1 hour free webinar for teachers community on ‘Instilling Positivity in Teachers through the Art of Resilience’ on 10 th Aug,2020 at 5:30 pm. Our Expert Resource Person, a well renowned counsellor Mrs. Saee Churmure exceptionally & beautifully engraved all with her positive thoughts & encouraged everyone to cope with setbacks by nurturing resilient & positive mind-sets. She also made us to believe in the competence & the ability all possess to adjust to meet these challenges. It was really a wonderful & a much needed session.

As the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world, industries are now facing challenges - how can the Accounting & Finance professionals sail through this crisis, and how has this crisis impose more opportunities to them? To overcome this situation our college organized a free webinar on “Career in Accountancy in Post Covid Scenario” on July 17,2020 from 5.30-6.30 pm. Our expert resource person Prof. Macnoble Dcruz exceptionally and wonderfully explained about impact and opportunities in career especially in commerce stream. The entire session was live on zoom and YouTube. It was well attended by numbers of students and teachers.
Our College in association with dept of library had organized a Free webinar On “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Readers” by Mr. Amrut Deshmukh on July 21,2020 from 5.30 - 6.30 pm. Mr. Amrut Deshmukh, who is popularly known as the Booklet Guy has introduce Audio Book Summaries to encourage people to read. He has also launched an application named “Booklet Guy” on Mission ‘Make India Read, In his talk, he shared how and why he started the mission, his journey. He gave tips on speed reading and how to store & recall information from the books through his experiences. As a social entrepreneur, he inspired everyone to focus on ‘Social Returns of Investment’ than just money. He emphasized on scheduling the routine and urged everyone to take ‘action which gives motivation’ to succeed in life.
Technology has the power to transform teaching by ushering in a new model of connected teaching. This model links teachers to their students & systems to help them improve their own personalize learning. And thus, PBV offered the opportunity for teachers to become more collaborative & extend learning beyond the classroom by organizing 7 days Faculty Development Programme from 26th May - 1st June-2020 on "Session on E-Content Development with live streaming online on Zoom and on YouTube. Session was conducted by Miss. Nikita Rebello. This 1 hour informative seminar covered the topics like - Google classroom online test,Creation of posters & infographics,Interactive videos,Blogs and many more. Large number of participants attended this seminar. It was really very wonderful session.
Books are indeed a unique portable magic. To inculcate the reading habit in our students, to make them fall in love with reading and to help them to build a good bond with books, we in association with Department of Library had organised a 1-hour free webinar on Book Review for our students on 30th June-2020 at 5:30 pm. Mr. Anand Rajawat, the Best Research Advisor & an ideal Teacher was welcomed to give the review on the book by Gary Keller titled, ‘THE ONE THING and THE ONE HABIT’.Anyone who is struggling with their life should read this book. This book will definitely help to be focused & get extra ordinary results of our efforts. The main agenda of the book was beautifully described. Not only the students but also the staff who attended the webinar was filled with ray of hope & a belief to be focused to achieve greater success.
“You cannot always control what goes on outside. But you can always control what goes on inside.”We at PBV strongly believe in this. And thus, due to outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, we believe that this period need not be all about boredom. So we constantly try to maintain lot of positivity around us and keeping this in mind on the occasion of International Yoga Day, our college had organised 1-hour webinar on ‘Embracing Yoga as the way of life’ which was streamed online on Zoom & on Youtube at 5:30 PM for the college staff. Mrs.Sangita Vartak was been invited to train & give us her valuable guidance. The session began with chanting Omkar, followed by warm up exercises & then the trainer demonstrated various asanas. The importances of these were explained simultaneously.
Various seminars are conducted by our college for students, parents and teachers in order to create awareness in the minds of young pupil about the current affairs. These seminars are always conducted by qualified and experienced teachers. Our aim behind conducting this seminar is to inspire the attendees and create good citizen who can contribute towards development of our nation. We also train them to implement the skills they have learnt in seminars. An acting seminar was conducted in our college on 28th September 2019 in college hall. The speaker person for the seminar were Mr. Vishal Bandekar, Mrs. Vaibhavi Bandekar, Mr. Paresh Sawant, Mr. Anant Naik. All the above have been acting trainers since the past many years.

These lectures help the students to improve their performance to resolve their doubts and score good marks in exam. Guidance is also provided on time management during examinations and last minute revision tips. Which helps the students to prepare well during the exams.
