Agashi Virar Arnala Education Society was founded in 1942.  It was Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak  who sowed the seed of Agashi  Virar Arnala Education society in the pre-independence era. Over the last eight decades, the institution has provided a variety of options and facilities, including early Marathi medium schools, Tribal hostels, Technical training, English medium schools, CBSE schools, Junior and Senior colleges, all of which are well equipped with modern educational aids like laboratories, modern computer rooms, audio-visual education facilities.

Our society has a beautiful tradition of keeping up with the times. Today more than thirteen thousand students are studying in our educational institution comprising of Marathi and English medium schools, Junior colleges and The Senior college. Undoubtedly, the credit for keeping the organization’s image and status in the public mind as a pioneer by the accepted standards goes to a dedicated team of more than five hundred highly qualified, experienced and trained educators and dedicated non-teaching staff.

The Alumni of the institution have added to the reputation of the institution by performing commendably in the fields of science, research, medicine, engineering, industry, politics, and infrastructure industry.

In order to maintain our strengths and be determined to embark on new challenges as we approach the milestone of eighty one on this uninterrupted voyage, it is essential to keep a lid on the past, look to the future, and keep track of our triumphs.
