Bhavsmruti an Intercollegiate Festival
Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak and his contribution to the society has been enormous and immeasurable. Known for his philanthropical and magnanimous efforts towards society, he was felicitated with the most prestigious civilian award ‘The Padmashree Award’ by the Government of India for his contribution in social work. In order to commemorate this multifaceted personality and his extensive contribution towards the society Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak College and Narsinh Govindrao Vartak Junior College are organizing Bhavsmruti an intercollegiate festival. Through this festival we aim to not only revisit and refresh the memories of our mentor and his huge plethora of efforts towards the upliftment of society but also provide a unique platform for the present generation to hone their analytical, aesthetic, creative and technological expertise. This intercollegiate festival is a unique platform that will also provide competitive opportunities to undergraduate students who can explore the new possibilities in the field of education and build their concrete knowledge. This week-long festival includes numerous events that are created to enhance the intelligence, emotional, as well as social quotient of the participants and help them to nurture their inbuilt abilities. At the same time, the “Bhavsmruti Distinguished Scholar Award” is also conferred to the deserving candidate from amongst the participating colleges.
