The Bachelor of Commerce stream was initiated in the year 2016 with the sole purpose of offering the local and rural students’ commercial education. This Bachelor degree is affiliated to University of Mumbai. The Disciplines of Commerce offers subjects like; Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Finance etc. In addition to academics and research, the course also provides a basis for various professional vocations such as finance, planning, accounting, tax practitioners, banking and brokerage, and many more. The department consists of seven lecturers, whose purpose is to assist students acquire entrepreneurial skills and make them industry ready. More than 1200 students have graduated from this faculty, and 532 students are now enrolled for the academic year 2023-24. To assist students gain confidence in their practical expertise, the department arranges a variety of activities such as class seminars, PPT contests, group debates, guest lectures, and various in house competitions. It also encourages students to participate in numerous intercollege and University level events to faster within them the qualities of consistency, team spirit and dedication.
